1. Introduction
By applying to join the Tuningsupply Ambassador Program, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. Our program is designed for true automotive enthusiasts, builders, and creators who share our passion for high-performance parts and styling. We look forward to building the scene together.
Modification of Terms: Tuningsupply reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, including commission rates and payout structures, at any time. Partners will be notified of significant changes via email.
2. Enrolment & Eligibility
Approval: Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Tuningsupply reserves the right to reject any application for any reason.
Verification: We may request proof of your identity or ownership of your social media channels during the vetting process.
3. Commission & Tracking
Cookie Duration: Our program uses a 30-day tracking cookie. If a customer clicks your link and makes a purchase within 30 days, the sale is attributed to you (provided they haven't cleared their cookies or clicked another partner's link afterward).
Attribution: Commissions are tracked via your unique affiliate link or the usage of your personalized discount code at checkout.
4. Validation & Payout Terms
To protect the Program against fraud and handle customer returns, the following payout rules apply:
The 30-Day Validation Period: All commissions are initially marked as "Pending." Commissions will only be "Approved" after the 30-day return window has closed and the order is confirmed as final.
Returns & Cancellations: If a customer returns a product or cancels an order, the associated commission will be voided. If a partial return occurs, the commission will be adjusted proportionally.
Payout Threshold: The minimum payout balance is €50.00. Commissions will be held until this threshold is reached.
Payment Methods: Payments are processed automatically through the Shopify Collabs platform. To receive commissions, partners are required to link a valid PayPal account to their Shopify Collabs profile. Tuningsupply is not responsible for delayed payments due to incorrect or missing payment details in the partner’s profile.
Tax Responsibility: Ambassadors are independent contractors and are not employees of Tuningsupply. It is the sole responsibility of the partner to report and pay any applicable taxes (VAT, income tax, etc.) on commissions earned in accordance with their local tax laws.
Self-Purchasing Policy: Affiliate commissions will not be paid on orders made by the Ambassador using their own affiliate link or discount code. The program is intended for referring new customers, not for personal discounts.
5. Prohibited Promotion Methods
To maintain a fair marketplace, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
Search Engine Marketing (Brand Bidding): You may not bid on keywords containing "Tuningsupply" or variations/misspellings (e.g., "Tuningsupply discount," "Tuningsupply parts") on Google Ads, Bing, or other search engines.
Impersonation: You may not represent yourself as an official employee or "the" official Tuningsupply store. Your content must clearly state your status as an Ambassador/Partner.
Coupon & Deal Sites: Posting your codes on generic coupon, deal, or discount websites is strictly prohibited. Your code is intended solely for your specific audience and social media followers.
6. Content Standards & Safety
The reputation of Tuningsupply is paramount.
Safe Driving: We do not support or condone illegal street racing, drifting on public roads, or dangerous driving behaviour. Content featuring such activities will lead to immediate expulsion from the Program.
Professionalism: Partners must not post content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on third-party intellectual property.
Technical Accuracy: While we encourage DIY builds, always advise your followers to seek professional installation for safety-critical parts (suspension, brakes, turbo systems).
7. Legal Disclosures (#Ad)
Per FTC and EU consumer protection guidelines, you must disclose your relationship with Tuningsupply.
Every post, video, or story featuring your link/code must include a clear disclosure such as #ad, #sponsored, or #affiliate.
8. Intellectual Property
Tuningsupply grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our logos and product images solely for the purpose of promoting the Program. You may not alter, stretch, or recolour our logos without prior written consent.
9. Termination
Tuningsupply reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause. If termination is due to a breach of these terms (e.g., brand bidding or illegal content), all pending commissions will be forfeited.
